Regional Dialects:
When we
talk about a language, we have a large field, for this reason we need to talk
something specific, and our topic is Regional
Dialects, this topic is very interesting because this is a phenomenon that
happen in every language in the word, and what is that phenomenon?
That phenomenon
is that a language it could be the same for a country but in different
geographic area the people speak different. Which things are involve to a
language be different in a specific geographic area, those things are:
v Phonological Differences
When we
talk about phonology, we talk of the differences like when a letter drop or
some variations.
v Lexical Differences
When we
talk about of lexical differences we want to say that a words people use for
the same object differ for other people, in other word, an object has a name,
maybe in other part of the country the same object receive other name.
v Syntactic Differences
When we talk
about syntactic, we refer in the structure of the sentences of the paragraph,
in this context people use a structure maybe in other part of the country use
other way for say the same thing. For example:
John will
eat and Mary will eat = John and Mary will eat
John will eat
and Mary will eat = John will eat and Mary
All those
things are responsible for regional dialects in a language.
